Art Paul Schlosser - July 1

Artist statement: Hi, I'm Art Paul Schlosser and I have been painting for years but recently painting a painting a day has stretch my ability and I have found that I am getting better and have moved beyond abstract and flowers and animals to painting portraits and with the encouragement of my friend Chris Kammer I have done a whole bunch of famous people but perhaps somewhat in cartoon form. I hope you like some of these celebrities and I hope you like how I used in some cases other people's paintings for the background. I have found recycling used canvases at Dig & Save is more affordable than buying new canvases and thus I am saving not only money but the used canvases from ending up in the landfill and that is why I don't charge as much as some artist passing the savings onto you, my audience. But to be fair I do charge something because my time and energy is valuable and you don't value things that are free as much as you value something you paid for. Plus part of the money supports Mother Fools which deserves your support as well.
