Artist Statement:

As an artist and art therapist, I use my creativity as a tool for communication and self-care. I believe in the healing power of art and am committed to bringing more beauty and joy into the world through human connection as well as color, form, and imagination.

The forms that emerge on the mirror natural elements like water and earth, or hold sweeping landscapes and moving bodies or forms that invite the viewer into an imaginal realm of story and possibility. As the viewer engages with the abstract images on the page different stories, symbols, and feelings emerge and conversation and connection.

My creative process is spontaneous, divinely guided, and spiritually attuned to incorporate energy, light, prayer, ritual, and movement. As a queer woman I find inspiration in the strength, beauty, and bold authenticity of my community as well as the divine feminine.
