Elks Teeth & Rabbits Feet

Leah Brooke and Blair Clark work together to compose their own brand of poetic abnormality, studded with dry wit and mesmeric vocals. Their evolving sound features bold, electronic beats and an unexpected electric guitar/synth partnership providing a bare bones soundscape for Brooke's soul piercing songs.

The Feralings

The Feralings are Benj Upchurch (mandolin / vocals), Nicole Upchurch (clawhammer banjo / vocals), Patrick Bloom (upright bass / vocals), and Stacy Webster (acoustic guitar / vocals), but the name is a bit of a misnomer, as the members of the band are far more likely to invite you to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea than they are to jump you and steal your beer money.

The Crooked Mouth w/ Wendy Schneider

The Crooked Mouth is a band of divergent styles with the contributions of five songwriters doing many musical duties. Though there are string instruments and a storytelling sensibility, this isn't alt country. This isn't alt folk or alt rock. It's something in-between. Melody and lyric come together in often unusual ways without clutter or extraneous decor. The Crooked Mouth cuts its own groove.

Come celebrate the release of "Small Blue Green Letters."

Small Blue Green Letters, Ritt's latest recording and his fifth on the Uvulittle label, marks Deitz's return to stringed instruments and voices and recalls his first full-length release, Hillbilly (Bentback 1999, anthologized on the 2006 Uvulittle release Collected 1999-2000), exchanging Steve Burke's mandolin for Deitz's banjo and with the harmonies of backing vocalist Lindsey Hinkel Craig Totten's dobro work.

Stephanie Rearick released her 8th solo album this year, every thing everything, and will be playing this special, all-ages, show to highlight some of her new material. This will be the kick-off for a tour that will take her through Ohio and out to the East Coast.

Combining her classically-tinged piano tendencies with her love of looping Casio beats, trumpets and voice, Rearick creates a universe of music all her own.

Vedic Eden

Vedic Eden has been performing their unique and inspired music since being formed by Jaems Murphy in 2011 ; catchy pop melodies and folksy chord progressions over world percussive grooves with layered vocal harmonies, keyboard and trumpet all deftly arranged in a cinematic fashion. Their lyrics capture a sense of clandestine whimsy as they explore the construct of human ego through allusions to fairy-tales, children's stories and mythology.

Shawn Neary w/ Band of Lovers

Shawn Neary is a son of the Middle West, and his songs are of the same stock. He has lived in Southwest Wisconsin for two years now, drinking it all in with gratitude. His music has been described as slow burning Americana by folks who write these kinds of phrases.
