Artist Statement:
Hi, I'm Art Paul Schlosser
How does one explain ones own style ? Is it the fact that I'm less smooth and dainty with the brush and slop the paint on that makes my paintings more appealing ? Or is it my childlike joy and my desire to use bright colors that give people a desire buy an original Art Paul. Maybe some people like my nature scenes while others like my abstract expression. Well I am not sure what is the appeal is to my artwork but I do admit I paint not the way a teacher might teach but more from practice and reading books about other artist. My artwork was develop by doodling in class and later by fooling around with art supplies while spending time with friends. My artwork was encouraged by my sister at first and gallery owners,my wife as well many friends.I don't think my ability is that I'm the greatest but rather I was given a unique style that amuses people and makes them smile.I hope that you enjoy these paintings of mine and celebrate my world of art.
